Divine Chaos

A Priest Spell List

Copyright Jeremy Friesen and Pete Tichenor, 2000

1. Detect Order / Chaos: Detects the presence of "Order" and the presence of "Chaos."

2. Cancel Order: When the target of this spell is a target of a spell from a source of "Order," the incoming spell must first make a RR. For RR purposes, each spell uses a level equal to its caster's level. If the "incoming" spell passes the RR, it may target the caster normally; otherwise the incoming spell has no effect on this target.

3. Chaotic Spell I: Two random 1st level channeling spells are determined, the caster may select and cast one of them.

4. Banish Order I: [RR Mod: -20] Banishes target Type I creature of "order" to its plane of origin. The caster may ask it one question, which it must answer truthfully.

5. Desperate Exile II: Banishes target Type II or less creature of "Order" to its plane of origin. If the target makes its resistance roll, the caster will follow a single act suggested by the creature that is not completely alien to him (e.g. no suicide, self-mutilation, etc.).

6. Chaotic Spell II: As Chaotic Spell I, except the spells are 2nd level.

7. Dispel Order: As Cancel Order, except in addition, any active spell that was cast by a creature of "Order" that is on the target must make a RR (use the level of the spell's caster as the level of the spell). If the spell fails its RR, it is dispelled.

8. Banish Order II: [RR Mod: -20] As Banish I, except up to a Type II creature of "Order" is affected.

9. Detect Order / Chaos True: As Detect Order / Chaos except for duration and area of effect.

10. Order Cleansing: Caster may remove up to 1 corruption point per four levels caused by "Orderly" influences.

11. Desperate Exile IV: As Desperate Exile II, except up to a Type IV creature of "Order" can be effected.

12. Banish Order III: [RR Mod: -20] As Banish I, except up to a Type III creature of "Order" is affected.

13. Chaotic Spell IV: As Chaotic Spell I, except the spells are 4th level.

14. Dispel Order True: As Dispel Order, except the spell receives a -30 to its RR.

15. Chaotic Spell V: As Chaotic Spell I, except the spells are 5th level.

16. Banish Order IV: [RR Mod: -20] As Banish I, except up to a Type IV creature of "Order" is affected.

17. Chaotic Spell VI: As Chaotic Spell I, except the spells are 6th level.

18. Desperate Exile True: As Desperate Exile II, except any creature of "Order" may be affected.

19. Unorder: For the duration of the spell, target creature of "Order" loses all power points and does not regain any until the spell is cancelled or expires.

20. Banish Order V: [RR Mod: -20] As Banish I, except up to a Type V creature of "Order" is affected.

25. Chaotic Spell True: The caster may cast any one spell, up to 10th level, from a randomly determined channeling spell list.

30. Order Chaos True: [RR Mod: -20] As Banish I, except up to a Type VI creature of "Chaos" is affected.

50. Unorder True: [RR Mod: -20] Target creature of "Order" ceases to exist.

Special Notes

6 - 10III
11 - 15IV

Creatures of "Order" controlled by another being, receive a +10 RR versus Banishment. Mastered creatures receive a +15 RR versus Banishment. Certain powerful creatures of "Order" receive additional modifications.
