Dragonmeet 2001
Press Release
Hello. This is a message from the British Games Industry...
... No. Actually it's from those nice people at Gameforce, the company
behind last year's Dragonmeet convention.
After a half-year of planning, we're proud to announce that Dragonmeet
2001 will be on Saturday 1st December, at Kensington Town Hall, from
10am to 10pm. We've paid attention to all the comments people made on
their feedback forms, and this time there will be a bar, hot food, more
space for open gaming and parking that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Also there'll be more traders, more organised demonstrations, more
talks, seminars and workshops, and generally more of everything. Oh,
except for John Kovalic. There'll be the same amount of John Kovalic.
It'll be grand.
The cost of entry is UK£5 in advance or UK£6 on the door
(UK£3.50/UK£4.50 concessions). What's more, until 1 November 2001 if you
buy four tickets at full price then we'll throw in a fifth one free!
You can book online at our website (http://www.dragonmeet.com) or by
sending us a cheque (payable to "Gameforce") and the names of all the
ticket-holders to: Gameforce Ltd, 18-20 Bromell's Road, London SW4 0BG.
Our updated-and-very-smart website at http://www.dragonmeet.com has all
this information, plus details on all the events, guests and traders,
how to get to Kensington Town Hall, booking forms, discussion boards and
loads more. Check it out, and we'll look forward to seeing you in
December.
