Roundless combat for HARP

In the August 2006 issue, Tim Dugger published an article named 'Action Points'. The term denotes points in time at which the characters' combat actions take effect. The system introduced a roundless combat system, similar to CEATS II but less fine-grained (read: less complicated) and ready-to-run for HARP. For additional resources you may read the system's initiative option in the ICE forums or look at White Wolf's Exalted 2nd ed [sample pdf] for a similar combat system [tutorial pdf]. You can easily track time on graph paper or with counters on a fielded square or circle (battle wheel). Try it!
