"Highly prized by bards, these pastilles have a deep golden hue and honeysuckle-like scent."

The following are three items of especial interest to Bards, and other mentalism users.

Ring of Visions

Constant item: Item Vision (Item Lore list, lvl 9)

Spells needed to make: Work Base Metals (Inorganic Skills list, lvl 2); Constant (Own Realm Imbedding list, lvl 30); Item Vision.

Time to create: 41 weeks

Cost to create: 1681 gp

This is a plain gold ring, with no distinguishing features or marks. If, when the wearer holds an item in the hand that wears the ring, that item has had a significant event or events within the previous 24 hours (GM's discretion), then the wearer immediately sees a vision of that event as if they were there, as per the Item Vision spell.

Plectrum of Playing

Bonus item: +10 to Play Musical Instrument (Guitar)

Spells needed to make: Work Organic (External Concentration list, lvl 5); General II (Understanding Mastery list, lvl 10)

Key: only able to be used by Bards

Time to create: 15 weeks

Cost to create: 225 gp

This appears as any ordinary plectrum crafted from ivory, but in the hands of a Bard playing the guitar, it enables the music produced to sound sweeter and more moving than what that bard can normally produce. It adds +10 to the Play Musical Instrument (Guitar) skill.

Pastilles of Power

Bonus item: +5 to Singing

Spells needed to make: Work Organic (External Concentration list, lvl 5); General I (Understanding Mastery list, lvl 6)

Key: only able to be used by Bards; 1 hour duration once pastille dissolves

Usage: 1 time use only

Time to create: 1.5 weeks per pastille

Cost to create: 16 gp per pastille

Highly prized by bards, these pastilles have a deep golden hue and honeysuckle-like scent. When taken, and sucked upon until dissolved (15 minutes), then the next Singing roll within an hour receives a +5 bonus, due to the marvelous and tonic effects of the pastille upon the throat and mouth.

When found as treasure, there are usually 1--10 pastilles left.
