Welcome

To the 138th issue of The Guild Companion and our monthly progress report. It's been a month of all our projects edging closer to completion and much behind the scenes work.

Ongoing Work on HARP SF and HARP SF Xtreme

I successfully made the final modifications in terms of those handful of supporting paragraphs for the Vehicles chapter, which means that the text is now complete for HARP SF Xtreme. I have also created a reasonably complete interior art list including where the pieces will be positioned in the product and the topic for the cover art has also been decided. There will be three artists working in parallel on HARP SF Xtreme, each focusing on the topics they like best, and they are already hard at work. My next task is to take all the tables and convert them into spreadsheet format for easier importing into our layout process. Final proofreading will proceed in tandem with art and layout.

The cover for HARP SF is still in progress.

Ongoing Work on Shadow World Player's Guide

The Shadow World Player's Guide has been busy accumulating its final images for the inside, the front cover and the back cover. It has also gained itself an index. Each time that I look at it, I'm simply blown away by how good it looks.

Ongoing Work on The Guild Adventurer #4

Terry finished the maps and RM2/Classic stats for his scenario, Eyes of Stone, for TGA#4. We've already got the RMSS/FRP conversion of the stats completed; the interior artwork for Terry's scenario has been commissioned. The front cover will also feature a scene from Eyes of Stone. All of Maria Duffield's excellent pieces are now in place.

Still to be done is the conversion of all the NPC and monster stats into spreadsheet form. It's actually quite relaxing work, so I've a few evenings of that to look forward to.

There Will Be Big News Soon

We will have another very big announcement to make very soon. Keep your eyes on the various forums.

Farewell for now ...

I have many tables to turn into Excel spreadsheets, so I'll leave you to enjoy the rest of the issue. We'll be back in September with issue 139, but until then ...

Keep gaming and have fun,
