Welcome back to the Guild Companion. As promised last month, Iron Crown has made some new (or rather, old) Shadow World materials available as PDFs. It also looks like some of the classics (such as RMFRP) are making it into PDF format. One of the challenges involved is tracking down the original authors. So, please consider reaching out (e.g., through the various online forums) if you are (or know) any of the RM authors.

In terms of new content, this month's edition includes two articles, both for Rolemaster. First, we have the third installment of the Art of Fighting, a description of hafted weapons including maces, axes and hammers. The manuscript we received was somewhat damaged, so the careful reader will note some missing combat statistics. We tried to recreate the values using Mad Libs but ran into two problems: a) our players got bored quickly (choose a number, another number, and another number, ...) and b) the results were rather silly (a bonus of 6.022 times 10 to the 23rd wreaks havoc on play balance). So, we leave it to you, dear reader, to fill in the blanks.

Our other article is a new profession for RMSS: the Mystical Archer. The mystical archer is a Semi spell-user tailored for solo missions. Black Ops in 1200 A.D. In addition to a complete description of the profession, Jörg Jahnke gives us two brand new spell lists: Mystical Arrows and Mystical Bow.

Until next month, may all of your Large criticals be open-ended.
